Start/Stop Button

A start/stop button allows the driver to start and stop the engine using a push button, rather than a traditional key. This feature has become increasingly popular in recent years, as many drivers prefer the convenience and ease of use that it provides.

To use a start/stop button, the driver typically needs to have a smart key fob or proximity key. Once inside, the driver can simply press the start button to start the engine, without needing to insert a key into the ignition. The system then uses a combination of sensors and algorithms to localise and authorise the key to ensure a smooth start. When the driver is ready to stop the engine, they can simply press the stop button, and the system will shut down the engine and power off the vehicle’s various systems.

A start/stop button can be supplied in many variants including custom shapes and dimensions, coloured backlight illumination and surface printing.
